A small selection of maps and plans relating to plans and profiles of bridges in Scotland. For some early plans of bridges, see also estate maps for bridges in rural areas, town plans for bridges in urban areas, as well as railway plans. At less detailed scales, county maps and maps of Scotland may also include details of bridges. Ordnance Survey maps are excellent for bridges from the 1840s onwards.
