Historic Footpaths Viewer - Help

This application allows you to compare paths traced from the Ordnance Survey six-inch to the mile (1888-1913) maps, overlaid on an OS six-inch map layer (left) and a modern OpenStreetMap layer (right).

This allows the routes of historic footpaths to be easily compared to present-day paths and the modern landscape.
