Glasgow and Rutherglen
This depiction of Glasgow (GLASCO) clearly shows it as a small
city on the north bank of the Clyde. A bridge crosses the Clyde, and
to the south of the river lies Rutherglen (RUGLAN), an important
commercial and political centre at this time.
