Hawick
This extract follows the River Teviot from Hawick (Haïck)
on the far left towards Minto, on the top right. The 16th-century
tower house of Minto was rebuilt in the 18th century into a classical
mansion house that was damaged by fire in 1992. For some reason, Pont
crossed through this map and the diagonal line of this deletion can
be seen accross this image.
