Greenock
Greenock and other settlements on the southern shores of the Firth
of Clyde. The main building shown is Easter Greenock Castle, a 16th-century
construction which was owned by the Shaws of Sauchie in Pont's time.
It was demolished in the 1880s for the building of the Caledonian
railway, by which time Greenock had grown into a major shipbuilding
town.
