Forres, Kinloss, and Findhorn

The town of Forres, of great antiquity, and the setting for Shakespeare's MacBeth, is shown clustered around its kirk. The famous Sueno's Stone, the tallest and most elaborately carved Pictish cross-slab in Scotland, is probably shown just above, on the way to the former Cistertian abbey of Kinloss (KILDOS). Further north is the village of Findhorn, looking out onto the Moray Firth.
