Diane Baptie is an independent researcher, specialising in original records
in the National Archives of Scotland and National Library of Scotland. She is
the author of A Lairdship Lost: the Mowats of Balquholly 1309-1736 and
of two booklets on registers of the Secession churches and parish registers
of the Church of Scotland in the Kirk Session Minutes.
